Thank you for visiting my site. For those of you who don’t yet know, I am a poet, fiber artist, grandmother, licensed counselor and National Board Certified Special Education Teacher living in Seattle Washington. Born and raised in New Hampshire, I admit I love driving cross country (with the truckers) checking out of hotels at sunrise, chatting over gas tanks & stocking up on popcorn & pink lemonade. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing, M.Ed. in counseling, BA in Education.

In my private therapy practice, I often incorporate poetry and literary arts as a strategy to growth & healing. I also act as an Editorial Board Member for the peer-reviewed Journal of Poetry Therapy. You can find out more about my professional life on Psychology Today or Linked-in
